oh well, stumpy, dont waste your time here, i doubt this will get solved... it could be the symantec realtime protection that is doing this. no, i cant disable it because i am using a public computer (well, i dont want to disable it) so commenting will hafta wait until i get my computer done...
...nope didnt work...

people already replied, you were just too busy writing this one to notice. heck, this one may go to waste if any of the *gifted* people decide to lock it anyway.
i am looking for a MOBO that supports more than 4 devices, like say, 6 or 8?... /me is searching newegg.com for his furute MOBO.
stumpy has wierd, but useful solutions.

There's no 64-bit version of Windows yet actually there is, you can download it here::: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/64bit/downloads/upgrade.asp thats the only reason i want the 64 bit, to try out the new Windows XP... i will most likely end up getting a Barton 3200 like kona said... <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/
yeah, i agree with stumpy, it worked for me, i had that problem a couple of times, turns out that the WB installer i had was dammaged (darned USB drives)
for me, it was a problem with the HD, i tried to overclock and the HD started acting up. (pentium, figures) so now i have a new HD.
oh well... i will keep waiting. it has been doing this for a while, ever since the server hiccups so i thought that waiting would solve it...
its not the cookies.... and no firewall...
is any one else having the same problem? i cannot comment on my own work...
alright, so AMD it is. i tried to overclock my pentium once in the past and even though it was a slight change, it sucked like , well, you know... ok, AMD it is... /me goes off looking for a good video card...
