But strangely you can't stop looking. Kind of like a car accident?

I have this really good analogy for this, calling it emotional poker but I don't have the mental energy. I'm off to the gym. Gah!
Do you write agreements for internet and software usage? Just wondering. The lack of paragraph structure turned me off even though I am interested in the topic. Skinhit and Seldom, I agree with Zubaz. You are better than me.
Gid, Gid, Gid... Comments are for you to agree with the writer or to share your own personal, similar anecdote as long as they don't cantradict the original writer's first post! Tsk, tsk! I know how you feel, though. I made rebuttals in very neutral toned language about three years ago when I first started blogging. The first person, totally freaked and went on and on about how it was supposed to be sarcasm (which to this day I still think that that particular ESL sp
Ok, came back later and read the link. My first reaction still stands. I will add, that if it's not an abusive situation, just falling out of love seems like a strange reason to get divorced. For the most part, I think that a lot of that feeling has some ebb and flow. What happens if one gives it time and it flows back in?
There are all sorts of marriages and if people are still able to treat their partners with respect and courtesy, why should we criticize that they aren't "in love"? I don't think it's possible for any couple to be in love during every moment of the marriage. Maybe this is a better alternative. Even people in love with each other will exchange nasty comments. That has to be confusing for a kid, too. I haven't read the link yet. This is just my first reaction to the post.
Colleen, thanks for the updates. I check here often in hopes of hearing that MM is doing better. It must be pretty stressful for you so I really admire the thoughtfulness of keeping everyone here posted. I'm hoping for the best.
Well, I've always thought that ham was evil. Becuase you always ham it up!
just came from there!!! Hampshire is every bit the Jane eyre , Emily Bronte we have growm up with That is sooo cool! I would love to travel in the countryside. London would be great, but it's really expensive I hear. But I'd like to see Grosvenor Square and St. James and Westminster Abbey.
Colonel Brandon. Prime example of ugly sexy. I thought very romantic, too. We could probably watch movies together! But I have to warn you-- I'm not into movies about human drama. I'm in it purely for the entertainment value. If I want angst I'll examine my own life or talk to a buddy. My husband, in what I am coming to think of as a cultural style, likes human drama but not if it has a chick-flick flava. He really likes movie
I had a sub job teaching in kindergarten today. It was at a private school and the kids are pretty smart. It was pretty fun. They are so cute and the little ones don't tire me out as much as they used to. The big tiring factor was my feet. Since I'm a sub I try to dress a bit between casual and formal work wear. Usually I wear a nice pull over, some nice
Hubby is working late today. That means I can pick whatever movie I want for my Friday movie night on the big screen. This means I can go one of two ways: sci-fi action or chick-flick with cinematography. I was tempted by "Sound of Thunder" which I think is an adaptation of a Ray Bradbury story about a time-traveler who screws up the time line by not follow
I, too, read this blog because of the title. I thought this was going to be about you complaining how no one else was writing articles as good as you were. I don't get many hits either. Only about 5/article on a good day. I haven't even had much to write about lately. Why worry about it anyway? Write for you so then you get to enjoy it no matter how many people read it. Now I will stop proselytizing (and I hope I spelled that correctly because I'm not bothering wit
I prefer pistacchio myself. That's because you're nuts!
Please, please tell me yer funnin me. Ha. I wish I was. She played soccer for our university team. Obviously a little too many headers. Now, just recently, I had to remind a model at a photoshoot I was at not to iron on her body. I could see her thinking about it. I also had to warn her of
I think your response is great. Nice analogy and well written. I would also be a little unhappy if I had subscribed to chocolate ice-cream specifically because I liked chocolate and chocolate only and then I got stuck with cherries, or worse yet, bananas.
Still toast free. But really missing spider solitaire when I'm doing some work and my computer is taking ages to process an image or during printing and it's not quite long enough to get up and do something else. Slowly and surely getting rid of the clutter. It's getting a bit easier to get rid of stuff. Just tossed a lot of old video-tapes of TV shows from 1997. Fun to watch them because the commercials are hilarious. Kind of freaky, too
And here I thought that the cat the size of a kitchen mat was going to be more shocking. I guess I have gotten used to the idea of the wall-hanging thing.
I've saw a tv news segment years ago about a woman who had a business where they shaved the hair from one's deceased pet and made yarn out of it so that one could make a sweater out of it.
A couple of years ago I went to this pet store on the top floor of a local department store. Not your best bet to get a pet (ha ha nice channelling of Dr. Suess there) but I was kind of curious about if they just sold pet food or had actual animals. I got to the top floor which was actually the roof and walked across to the little shack-type room. As I walk
mysterious stains are usually my fault Mysterious, huh?
Ok. I got rid of the Spider Solitaire (and the other games) and I haven't had toast since I posted the article. I really want to eat it, though. I love toast as long as I don't burn it. I have a 40% burn ratio when it comes to toast.
I've never felt and earthquake. How weird to really feel the earth move under your feet. I can't even imagine it. I've been in a couple and have been blessed that they have been little more than the earth just giving a little shrug. Two years ago there was a pretty large earthquake north of Tokyo in
I wasn't going to do it, but I can feel I am on the cusp of making them even if I don't directly acknowledge that's what I'm doing. Here goes: 1. Lose 6 g. That's probably realistic. At one point in my life I would have been a bit annoyed to weigh that but now I can't be bothered to make the effort to lose more than I really need to. And more im
hate it when they forget to comment much at all and are like "you know I haven't seen this in ages I keep forgetting to say anything!" I agree completely. I always want to ask them if they're getting paid for the commentary and if so why didn't they do some PREP!
