A-r-r-o-g-a-n-t. I don't mean to sound arrogant in pointing that out though. Sorry! I'm with you SLC... if you're gonna post an article where the title of it features you calling people idiots, at least run a spell-checker. You kinda look like an idiot when you can't even spell the word 'arrogant' correctly.

"I don't want to feel "soft pressure" to donate anything" I like that!! Way to articulate the feeling! I second that! Ya feel like a shmuck if you don't give 'em something, but at the same time, are we supposed to give 'em something every single time we go to the store?

ooh ooh... what about this one? "If we're ever gonna see a rainbow, we gotta stand a little rain..." - The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band So isn't all that hardship supposed to make the good stuff all the better when it arrives? That's how we learn to appreciate the good things when they happen right?

the advantage of working the graveyard shift in the U.S. is that I get to be one of the first to respond to the 'Friday Five'... so without further adieu: #1 - nude, naked, nekkid, in the buff, sans clothing, in my birthday suit, bare-assed... get the idea? #2 - I snore... very very loudly. I once snored so loud that I woke my own self up! #3 - gotta have one sheet below me, one sheet & comforter above me... we're talking the big thick plush type comforter...

I was deployed to the desert this past Summer, and had the opportunity to work alongside some British troops in the MOC. They were there supporting the "Tornado" aircraft from her Majesty's royal Air Force. So I was at the pool one day (it's a tough job being in the Air Force let me tell ya), and I started shooting baskets with some gentlemen that turned out to have that funny accent. Silly me, I ASSumed they were British. Imajine my feeling of stupidity wh

On our trip, we ate chicken strips, chicken sandwiches, fried chicken, cajun chicken, chicken selects, chicken alfredo, popcorn chicken, chicken salad, chicken burritos and chicken quesadillas. Remember, this was all in the course of a week. Most of my main meals were chicken. Dude... I'm starting to think that maybe you're best suited to b

you speak of the masses following those in power... there's no denying that you are correct in that assessment. But you want to do away with organized religion, and what? allow us all to think for ourselves? There's only one problem sir... what about the people who don't share your intellect? there are sheep and there are shepherds... you my friend are a shepherd, but you can't assume that everyone else can be a shepherd too. the system ex

There's a part of me that wants to point out how great it would be to find a woman that feels the same way about weddings that Mig and Dharma did... but there's no telling what kind of controversy that would stir if I wrote about the kind of woman i'm looking for. Mig - do you mind if I borrow this article, and show it to my next fiance? (if I ever find one anyway)

definitely for it. But it all depends on the woman. If I end up with a gal that doesn't like it, then i won't use it. but chances are I'll end up with someone that will want to be 'Darlin'.

Mug Mig Anglo Trin & Dan K. I haven't taken the time required to get to know very many of the bloggers that came on board while I was deployed. I'm always worried about falling back into my old habits of spending way too much time here, so I've taken on the role of "that guy that's standing on the outside looking in." and I'm o.k. with that. Angloesque is a longtime friend & has been way cool about coming outside to say hi to me, and for

At the end of the day, the Post Office is still a business, and businesses have to make money to stay well, in business. It was either last year or the year before that the Post Office actually lost money. Specialized delivery companies (FedEx, UPS, and DHL) are taking business away from the good ole USPS, and the overwhelming success of email has taken its toll as well. The Post Office is not raising rates just to raise them. They're trying to stay in bus

Bring it on you Limeys! we kicked your ass once and we'll do it again... somehow I don't think we'll need any French assistance this time. I can't help but notice that you're obsessed with taking away our guns... are ya skeered? Good luck pulling that off by the way. If you must insist on picking this fight that you can't win, I suggest the following: Come into Boston's seaport for your first overnight stay... no really, you can trust us this time. <B

You know it's got potential when you've been looking forward to getting your 4x4 lifted for months and months, but when the time comes, you consider buying a diamond ring instead of getting the truck lifted... sacrifice... isn't that sometimes what love is about? I'm not saying it's gonna happen, but based on what I've seen so far, it's not out of the realm of possibility... I hope you're all thoroughly confused at this point...

Nicky - it sounds to me like you need to get laid... actually, you need something a little more intense than just a 'lay', but i don't know if it would be appropriate to place that word here... *raises glass Here's to Nicky getting some much needed lovin' very soon... she needs it. hehehe
