Great idea to both pray and give: puts "feet" on our words and intentions... One of our IT guys had some home video footage from the tsunami [no, I don't know where he got it] but it was terrible. At first, the people were excited about the "big wave", laughing and getting closer for pictures and video footage. It continued with more excited and cheers, then all of a sudden they realized they were in big trouble and the cheers changed

Here in the mountains of Pennsylvania it is usually quite cold with snow by now, but we are currently at about 40 degrees with some rain. In the city where I work, there is commuter parking on an island in the middle of the river, and I walk a footbridge across the river to get to my office building. The river is running at normal levels, but there are now huge, slushy ice chunks floating down which is actually quite cool. It's a wonderful

Perhaps I should explain: Bethlehem Steel was a major industry once upon a time, and I graduated from a college in Bethlehem so it sticks in my mind
