Hi Cursor FX 2.11 does work within windows 8 and works just fine inside of Metro and all parts of windows 8. All You need to do is re-download and install version 2.11 as it is a reworked and fixed version of 2.11 (just same version # as the one that did not work in Metro)so it works inside of metro apps now. Well right on Stardock :) This is one company I have supported with my Object Desktop Purchase and subsequent renewals since 2004, and a multitude of other upgrades to software and new ones when they came out. I love their products and all are usable and well designed. Something NEW sounds fun and worthwhile to investigate. Will be waiting anxiously to see what it is all about. I have no issues with desktop collage dream in windows 8 pro 64 bit. Windows 8 does not support MPG2 video anymore due to high cost of including with windows and neither can Stardock support the cost either. Hi ObjectDock Plus 2 is not yet 100 % compatible with Windows 8. If you read the product description it does not list Windows 8 in the required or recommended specs for use. https://www.stardock.com/products/objectdock/ It will be updated in the near future(hopefully), but Stardock is currently working on DeskScapes 4 and Window Blinds 8 for Windows 8. Works Great for me as well. You may need to install the newest version from stardock central. Ver 2.11 of Cursor FX Plus has patch in it for Windows 8 start Screen missing cursors. Try uninstall, reboot, and reinstall. I believe they had kept the same version number as previous release of it so it may not show as an update in stardock Central. Cheers all GigaByte69

(i.e.: bank debit card, visa, PayPal) If you paid by PayPal, you need too use your email that you used for PayPal login account. if you used a different email than you used to login to Forum's, you can contact Stardock Support and they can get your email addresses merged. Hi I have been running it since the early beta versions and have had no issues what so ever. I use the multiple screen fences, folder fences and normal arranging of fences on my win 7 x64 rig. Have you sent in a support ticket with system specs and software versions installed. Was fences updated using Stardock central or just the downloadable file from the store? Is it Free, Demo or Paid Product? May be just a specific issue with an element in your system
hmm I have had absolutely no issues with the OS. I play games, use MS Office do accounting and customize with Object Desktop apps. ITs fast sleek and awesome. I cant recommend it enough for people. I love the new things MS has done with the OS. The new task manager is sweet. The app store works well. All my software is working fine. and its fast. GigaByte69

Hi all When you bring up the configure start8 menu with right click on start button, the CONFIGURE option is not clickable at all. STYLE, CONTROL and ABOUT all work fine. Is this a future option to be added? I am a registered Object Desktop Customer, it did not ask for serial number at all either, just an email address and password to download it. Hi I have just updated my software to the newest beta for Start8 and the release version of Fences2. Now I am seeing (images) in Stardock central installed programs list multiple entries. This is also occurring in my start/add/remove programs list. Are the installers for updates and apps not removing previous version prior to installing newer versions? Should I be manually uninstalling these apps before updating? After install and reboot of syst

Hi, I know that tiles is still in beta, but I am running the full activated version on my Windows 8 Release Preview. I am not sure if its in a future update, but will the possibility to have Apps show up on the Tiles Bar? My regular Applications like IE, Chrome, Word, Excel and Games show up, but any apps that are run from the new start screen do not show up, and I have to use windows version bar on the left screen side to close them individually. Thanks
