Holy crap, you have some patients my friend.. I'd have tossed my computer out the window vista by now! By the way, My problem has not been solved as of yet... but I think it may be the bios battery which can cause a multitude of problems. And I'm gonna have a second 100g harddrive put in so I can move everything over there and reinstall windows. At this point I'm ready for a fresh start anyway. Thanks again for all the help! <img src="http://image
Well... thanks for all the help folks. Unfortunately, nothing is working... My brother asked me if my clock was slow and it is, so he said that it could be a bios battery problem... I'm gonna change that and see... But I think I'll be popping in the old XP disk... Pray nothing goes awry!
sorry, yrag... I had 3.00.002 running... but I uninstalled it completely and still have the problems... I think I've ruled out IP as the problem.
Sorry, I keep getting thoughts after I hit "submit". What about "Microsoft's Super-Duper Operating System" Or Windows SDOS? Or they could get direct and call it "Windows Orange"... ooooh, wouldn't that piss off Apple? OK, I'm done.
Just something I like about the word "Ultimate"...
Or maybe Ultimate Windows! That would rock!
I personally think it should've been called Windows XP2, because XP was the best name so far, and people go silly for sequels..
Have you done any Windows Updates recently? I had a similiar experience about a month ago from a windows update. If you can do a system restore I would try that What kind of problems did it cause you exactly...?
OK, somehow those sentences got all jumbled up on my last post... ??? The sentence that begins "Now this mmay be helpful..." should be at the end after the quote about Icon Packager...
Well.. so far, most of what has been said here are great ideas... but unfortunately, not the problem... Or you can try right-clicking each image type one by one, and use Open As, then choosing your program (PSP6 or CorelDraw), and saying to always
OK, I know this is a shot in the dark, 'cause there are a million reasons for these things happening, but I was hoping there was some PC guru out there who might have an idea... These things have happened to my computer in the last few weeks, one by one... -CorelDRAW 9 no longer opens. I've tried reinstalling. It starts to load, then just quits. -when rightclicking on a picture file, and saying open with Paintshop Pro 6.. it s
Personally, I don't give a crap about the name... just as long as the product is a good one. But I did always think Longhorn was stupid...
Hey it looks great, so far...
Congrats bro!
I'm sorry, I read that wrong... Firefox is using 38,000k... so that's about 75 TIMES as much!!
Having your web browser open to post complaints uses about 40-50 TIMES as much memory as Windowblinds... (My current wbload is using 490k, and Firefox is using 22,000k.)
ugh... as a lifetime Coreldraw user...I was drawn in by it's promise to combine vector based graphics with pixel based graphics... but this was a headache. I've been trying to learn Photoshop recently, and this "acrylic" was like trying to learn Photoshop in a foreign language. It's certainly not better than Coreldraw, and I doubt it's better than Photoshop, so I won't be bothering to continue trying to learn it... One new thing on my plate at a time
Well, I installed service pack 2 about 3 months ago... and this just started, so I'm quite sure that's not it... as for the Java platform... it's not something I've ever installed before, I don't know enough about computers to install stuff like that... it had been working fine for a long time without it... should I install it anyway?
Any of you computer wizards out there have any idea why when I click on links that should open Java windows nothing happens? This just started about a week ago... I can't find anything on MS web site to help.... any ideas?
Of course, being a wall artist, I'm saying wallpapers. But I do think walls present the most opportunity for creativeness. Just my thoughts...
The only post on this forum that surprises me is that Sleeping Dragon has NO problems... I've experienced all and more of the issues that everyone here has mentioned. This is the part that really bugs me.... Unfortunately for the last couple of weeks we have been busy with a couple of other projects that have taken our att
