(I am hijacking this thread to make a statement..) I want points for being a article killer. (Go back and view those which usually hit 50+)..I'm usually the last person to reply. Does my breath smell that bad? Heh, double coupon points for he who watches intently!! (You may now return to your regularly scheduled article)

Heh, I agree, BulbousHead..sounds 'bout right anymore. Sometimes I feel as if I'm being cruxified for past generational sins..being as I'm a white male. Every race, creed, religion, government, yada yada is biased/bigoted towards another. That doesn't mean ALL Christians blame/hate Jews..but some do.. And Vice Versa...same with blacks, whites, asians...we all have our own bigotries based off of what we're taught by our elders and fr

Thanks, Messy.. I don't have to reply to Bulbous now..You said it for me. ^_^ And Brad's right, too.. (I'm starting to hate saying that lol) Alot of people who are rich and famous started out with some ridiculously small amount of money..Say, 20 dollars in their pocket. But I will reply to this "Requires idea. What percent of the population is made up of innovators, entrepreneurs, and inventors? First of all, I'd say almost

Exactly, Jill.. It doesn't take a Rockerfeller to support a family. Everybody keeps upping the ante until "I need 100,000 to live! I have an expensive coccaine habit, plus I love some fast cars"..heh. Give them an inch.....Hey, where did my mile go? ;)

Melchiah, the ranting isn't directed at those who end up needing help because of circumstances beyond their control. It's directed towards those who never try to get off assistance. I never grouped the whole bunch together, to my knowledge :) I've been unemployed myself and it took a year to find a job..but I got one..and from that job I got a BETTER job..so forth and so on. I'm not ignorant of the situations, I have been there..and I know what I

Well, I can see why women and men would have two different bathrooms, etc.,. Men are different than women. Look at bathroom behaviors: Most men don't talk or even look at each other in bathrooms..It's a quick in, quick out, wash your hands..and get out. Women go to the bathroom in gaggles..Gossip, etc.,. It's like a social gathering and a pit stop, rolled in one. I don't see that the two behavior patterns would work too well. Guys wou

Being a "loser" isn't genetic. It's social engineering. If we see it around us daily and nobody teaches us it is wrong, why aspire to more? True, there will always be diamonds in the ruff, but alot of people aren't taught that they can become something of themselves. Brad is right though, a loser is a loser..and I'm tired of supporting losers. It isn't about how much we spend, it is about how we spend it. Currently, we're not capable of actually solving the problem. It takes people Lik

Look at success stories, BulbousHead. With the right investment, or an idea that takes off, you can start up a company. If you're lucky, you could start up a company in your garage that becomes a "315 lbs gorilla" in the industry. But..it would never happen if you don't try, if you don't put forth the effort. Rags to Riches, the true American Dream..coming a home near you.

Wow, All he did was post statistics and even the amiable WiseFawn snaps like an old dried rubberband. Crikey! Why do people have to champion the 'poor' like it was the holy crusade? Being "poor" is more about making the wrong choices. To get out of Poor means making the right choices. It IS a dynamic position. A person can go from poor one year to rich the next. It isn't a completely stagnant position.

"In fact Lunaticus there are many methods of reading a person. For instance, does he lean to the negative side of a matter or the psoitive? Does he cut another man down when he errs or does he empathetically lift him up? When emotions are high, does he let his tongue loose and speak without first standing in another persons shoes, or does he hold back and first calmly consider a situation?" This post isn't about reading people's profiles from their level of cynicism or what they say, bu

The human language is the way it is because we agree on it to be so. A chair is a chair because that's what we call it. *Doesn't anyone take speech anymore?* If I say it is a chair, and you say it's a duck, we have a communication problem. There is a difference between people who cannot spell and choose not to. Those who cannot aren't so much the problem as those who are reasonably intelligent deliberately ignoring English and doing their own thing because "i'm 2 lazy 2 type it out

Yes, pay the artist. I see alot of comments elsewhere that "WHy pay so much for a cd when it is so cheap to make? It's outright thievery on their part!".. Well, not really..in some ways yes, due to record contracts that can land a platinum artist in debt for three to four more sellout albums, but.. The price to produce a cd has more costs involved than just putting it on a piece of plastic. If anyone is curious, I'll track down price examples. Let's just say an indepent art

Let me fix my post, grr.. "All come about because we know we won't live FOREVER...that there may NOT be a tomorrow"...I type too fast for my own clumsy good. ;)

Okay, I have to get this out of the way: Living forever is unnatural. Removing the circle of life, we'd probably doom ourselves anyways..realistically, but enough aside..this is a fansical post anyways. I've met 20 year olds who've felt like they've lived 90...and look/act like it at times. Imagine how old you might feel at 200..especially if you had a timespan that could stretch into hundred of thousand of years. We're just not mentally hardwired to handle that much time. We'd become s

Hey Muggaz, other than my posts on joeuser.com, what did I as an American do to convince a foreigner to hate me solely on my nationality? I was born here, I value my country, and stand by it even in troubled times. I guess that's a perfectly good reason to hate my guts, burn my flag, point fingers, and in general try to cause chaos, anarchy, and blow me up with suicide bombers. When you hate America, what you mean is you hate the Government of America..which, while it is suppo

Paying theives to steal for you can go both ways. On one hand it shows udder (huhuh I said udder) disdain to belittle yourself to actually stealing it..(though it is theft) But then again, you're paying someone else..so in a way, it just says you're not good enough to do it yourself. Go Fig!

Being attractive can lead male members of the human species to invade personal space. And even women members, this IS the new milennia. This doesn't mean everyone is out to hump your leg..but I am. That's besides the point.. ^_^ If being subtle doesn't help..be unsubtle. Shrink a guy's ego by looking at him with a sour expression..such as the look "Did you bathe today!?" Or the "I wouldn't sleep with you to repopulate the world" look. Or be vocal. Excuse me! Sure, they'll go home and sa
