Things seem to have down in the pool that include SA. Lanka is on top with 2 wins in 2 matches (they sure gave Bangladesh a thorough whopping, my what a hat-trick!!!) The crucial India - Australia match is coming up morrow. Hope the Indians find enough faith in themselves to beat the Ozzies (high hopes tho). What say Jafo? Wanna bet? Not about the winner but about which batsman will score the higher runs. I have a feeling that either the Little Master or his

Dear PooPs, the pitch sucked big time. The ball didn't come to the bat. Imagine our bowling lineup getting the Dutch all out!!! And I wouldn't blame the batsmen, they are low on self - esteem after the mother-of-all disappointments in New Zealand. The best thing to come out for this match, from the Indian point of view, is that the Little Maestro is back to the opening slot. Anyways, alls well that ends well. Best of luck to the Pakis 4 their next match. And Id Mubarak!!! <

God made the world. He rested. God then made the sun and the moon and the stars. He rested. God made the seas and the mountains. And He rested. He made the plants and the animals. And he made rested. He made man and he rested. And then God made woman. And nobody has rested since.

India's first match today, against Holland. I hope we win (the kinda form these guys are in, there are no sure results, we might lose to Namibia for all I can say.) And as for the India - Pakistan match goes PooPs, all I can say is that in all world cup encounters yet, it has been India that has driven Pakis to despair. I just hope that the present team repeats history. Until then, my fin

JM, Sorry about not posting something on this thread earlier, but I was kinda busy (told you about my oral examinations, project and submission, didn't I?) Anyways, I see that you are counting your friends. Here's something that might help, each of your friends is worth more than 100 enemies. What say, eh? Call all your friends to raise their hand and I'll raise both so that you can count me twice. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN

Happy Birthday BoXXi (a belated one, sorry) You know what, my dad's 46, but he still gets compliments from girls half his age (young enough to be his daughter(s)-in-law), and we tease him about it. So take heart, BoXXi, cause you have just begun understanding this journey we call Life. There still is a long way to go. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN="a

I certainly do not think that the coming of Palladium will effect the net community much. Day by day, people are getting more and more acquainted with their pcs. They will eventually be able to make the decisions for themselves, for their good and theeir bad. And what the heck are we worried about? Even today, when so many swear by XP, I doubt that more than 10% of the total pc users have switched to it. Here in India, we still have people swearing by good ol' 98. Damn '98, our schools still tea

They undertook the mission fully understanding the risks involved. That needs courage. They were performing experiments that were for the betterment of humanity as whole, not for a particular people. That needs clarity of thought and aims. They were from different backgrounds, nations, sexes, religions, races. They represented the human race. Hence the world mourns their passing. We have a sying here which says: 'When a man comes into the world, he cries and t

Freedom, Doreen, is a much abused word. People nowadays get away with anything in the name of freedom, it may be speech, to bear arms, to protect one's way of life, religion, etc. Freedom is another name of duty. You cannot weild power without responsibility. That wouldn't be freedom. That would be tyranny. Freedom of speech confers the same right to even your opponent. So freedom of speech is as much as hearing others air their views as you speaking yours. Freedom to bear arms is as
