This has gone a little off topic.... When I first came here I felt anything BUT welcome My first attempt at skinning was pitiful and I got flamed by a bunch of idiots in the comments. This used to happen to me... are you uploading a .bootskin file or just the boot's folder? To make a .bootskin file simply the bootskin you made (in the program) and then go to file, export and it will creat a self-extracting file... this is what u upload NOT the boots folder hope this helps

actually you can do an animated bootscreen, to a certain extent... there was a prank boot screen made a while back that had the words (in command prompt format) Now formatting drive C: and then it did the blinking cursor with a block of black and white becoming the progress bar and it really did create the illisuion of a blinking cursor (the progress bar was like 4 pixils thick) There are many interesting things you can do with progress bars. if manipulated correc
