[TheGuyPc] You are running Window Blinds. You need to add your Messenger to the exclusions. Until you do this, you will find that your messenger will disappear with a "right click". You will also find that when you close it, and the "closed" face is in your Systray, it will disappear when clicked.
There doesnt appear to be a general settings tab in the gadgets preferences. I just checked the few I had - no hot keys to hide/show the gadgets i have.
Just curious-- how long since you bought it? It wasnt that long ago..i remember when he wrote about buying it and i bought one a few days later. Mine started " snagging " so I bought a new mouse pad. Im good to go for a few more.

In the 1 hour I was here ( between 5 am - 6 am although hard to tell because the time posting seems to be CST time as opposed to the usual EST) the site took forever to load before I even signed in. Once signed in...I was logged out of WC at least twice...maybe more ..i lost count. Usually after posting in forum I recieved the odd looking page with the enlarged font with " Time Out " message....I was no longer logged into WC . The Comment did not post.
Is your screen set for the correct resolution when you apply the Theme ? If its a theme for a 1280 screen ..things will disappear out of view. If everything is gone...I'd try clearing the Cache folder first then upgrade . Even if you have 3.0 ...they have updated since. Im running DesktopX 3.1 and thats not the latest version. Might be faster because not much is going on really. Not much has been uploaded all week so visits are quicker. As for shutting off the personal pages..well, that was one of the " perks " of a subscription. Just seems that the subscribers are getting things taken away. I look through others gallery pages all the time...usually because i find stuff I missed other places. Oh well...my opinion means squat.
The reason I had to put most of my SBC Yahoo DSL exe's in there was, because after just a few seconds of running my IP software, with WB on, I would click on anything and my IP software would close. After the last update - I couldnt get Windows FX to make a shadow unless I moved the taskbar to the top ..and the start menu no longer made a shadow at all. I stopped bothering to use it at that point and wished I hadnt updated it at all. It worked fine before the update...did anyone else have this problem ?

[Jafo] Main difference between a CRT and LCD is the latter has static pixels. They won't 'move' no matter what you do to the screen res...[short of hitting it stupid with a hammer and rearranging its shape]. A CRT scans/sprays the 'pixels' across the screen...and generally will support a quite extensive resolution
