I'm in DC--its definately hot--we sort of jumped from winter to summer without any real spring. But our building is also old and traps heat. Living on the top floor, it's like a sauna by the end of the day. I have a funny feeling that even if I don't give myself permission, I'm having a slack ass day anyway! And your right, it was ages ago. Thanks for reading!
It's official-- I'm completely unmotivated today. Maybe it's the weather, or my horrible allergies acting up, maybe it's because my boss is out of town, but whatever it is I HAVE NOT ACCOMPLISHED ANYTHING TODAY. It's been "one of those days" from the start. I woke up with an achy head from all the pollen that's drifted into my bedroom. I've been keeping
The previous Spanish government was a perfect democracy. They chose to do what they felt they had to do, the population were upset with them and chose to replace them. Nothing wrong with that. It does not make the new government more democractic, just more representative of what the population currently feel. <br
JeremyG--I had to go back and reread what I had written to understand what you were saying. Yes but
Personally I think your analysis is a little bit flawed. Thanks for the comments, but it wasn't my analysis--it was NBC Nightly News. I agree with your comments. My intent wasn't to investigate why it happened, but rather, what effect it might have.
I would ban humanity. No joke. If it weren't for people, we'd have the perfect nation. of what? cows, sheeps and pigs?
11. What are you wearing right now? thats none of your business ah...but I really wanted to know Seriously though, thanks for stopping by--I'm honored t
***fingers in ears*** I don't hear you, I don't hear you...
The problem is that violence to women ensues because they won't stay in the kitchen where they belong. They just go gallivanting around, being troublesome. Should never have taught them how to read, I tell you. now you are just picking fights with me voodoostation <img src="../images/smiles/bigsmile.g
we just look at the pasture from different fence lines. glad you cleared that up... I was a little worried.
51% is still a majority, however thin. Take into account the 3% margin to the negative, that would be 48%, right? conversely, 3% to the non-pessimistic would make it even bigger than 51%. Right? Right but the same holds true for the 54% that disapproved...it could be as little as 51% or as high as 57
sorry--I'll try to refrain from being a smart ass in the future...
I'd be 'Stupor-Woman' and I'd be able to render people incoherent with just a glance. anyone in particular you'd like to use this power on?? I'd say that beautiful neighbor *dripping with sarcasm* of yours, but it sounds to me she's already been rend
All this violence against women and treatment is insane I wholly agree. I will kick someone's candy ass if they say otherwise maybe addressing
also a former Palestinian how does one become a "former Palestinian?"
Damn, I actually agree with you! that made me laugh--I never realized we were foes...
I can't help it if you are a pessimist. Only you can prevent pessimism. how am I a pessimist?
you won't get your secret crush ha ha! Is that why I haven't gotten my secret crush--well, now that I know that, watch out friends, your inboxes are about to be filled! Mr. Frog: Thanks for actually filling it out, I didn't think anyone would do that. I suppose the more *informati
The new ad campaign by KFC irritates me. Do they really think that if they change the name to "Kitchen Fresh," instead of "Kentucky Fried," consumers are more likely to purchase it? I'm insulted, but I'm not actually a patron of KFC, so I suppose I shouldn't be--the ad isn't actually directed at me. But come o
It now has to be a super majority, just like the Dems in the Senate do when appointing a Justice. Isn't that right girls? why the "girls"--simply because I disagree with you doesn't mean you have the right to belittle me by referring to me as a "girl"--I would never say, Isn't that right boys? I'm mor
Unless it's something bad like a coup, I still don't see anything wrong with applying pressure. You are right that it is not as extreme as a coup, but the guilt trip ( I'm so disappointed that the Spanish government is giving into the terrorist ) is a blantant disregard for the democratic will of t
I'm not a big fan of email forwards in general, but I'm even less of a fan of those silly little forms that require you to fill out a long litany of your favorites: color, salad dressing, tooth paste. Please! I don't care enough about tooth paste or salad dressings to be interested in which one my boss, boyfriend, or friend's cousin's mother's newphew is choosing. I
thanks vincible, I'll check out the article.
Reply #19 By: Super Baby - 4/21/2004 5:21:08 PM So if we are upset with a country's choice, even if it is the majority, then we are anti-democracy? One can still support democracy and think that the majority of a nation made a stupid decision. Still, I'll remember this when you criticize a decision supported by the majori
