I do have Mozilla installed on my laptop, version 1.1b from 7/22/02. My desktop is running a newer nightly build from 8/4/02, that was obviously just installed a couple of days ago. I've been having this problem for about 3-4 months on my desktop, so I've gone through multiple builds of Mozilla. As far as SkinBrowser goes, I can get it installed, just can get it to connect to Wincusto. Can't even get it to download the 'Site Updates' data. Thanks ... Dan
I've got an odd question ... I have a laptop and desktop at work, both running IE6, both have Internet access through our firewall, etc., etc. I can get to Wincusto using IE6 on my laptop just fine, but not on my desktop. I've gone through all the IE settings and mirrored them on both machines, I've hosed the cache, history, all cookies, etc.. I *can* get to wincusto on my desktop using Mozilla. Also, I can't use SkinBrowser on my Desktop either, but just fine on my laptop. I work i
uhhhhh, "got created nick" should've been changed to "created this nick" ... bleh
actually I got created nick when I signed up for my hotmail account and then just wanted to keep the same nick. fortunately it wasn't a problem here, but I sat there for about 30 minutes trying to come up with something for hotmail ...
I couldn't come up with anything else and I have a beautiful wife plus 2 beautiful daughters, so three_4me ... yuck I know, but I had to come up with something and it's like pulling teeth anymore trying to find a unique nick on the internet anymore ...
For me it's all a matter of perspective. I have a wife and two beautiful daughters, therefore (for me at least) I have everything I'll ever need. A job, a car, a tv, it can all go away, but as long as my family is here, life is good. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Power
motion: ... mmmmm, Guinness ... I, I mean therapy (how do you spell therapy?) jcg: I've actually never had this happen so wasn't aware. And, hopefully it won't happen to me cause it means I'll have to join the ranks of Jafo's correctees (sp? ). Either that or I'll just have to go to therapy with motion <img sr
Either an 'edit post' button, or you could always give it the ol' fashioned "re-read your post before you click Submit" try ...
Downloaded off of OD this morning. Big thumbs up for all your hard work!!! It just keeps getting better and better
Like a lot of people I purchased WB separately first and after reading the newsgroups wanted to be able to check out all the other programs. Now I don't know what I would do without it. Between OB, WB, IconPackager, BandVWM, etc., etc, my machine is actually usable. For $50 you can't go wrong, especially with the number of upgrades to the major apps that are released every year. Oh yeah, let's not forget what a great company Stardock is (IMO) ... <A HREF="https://www.
heh ... and I'm the owner of a multi-billion dollar (m$) software company and I would like to see if anyone can write a book on how to write a decent OS
I concur with everyones suggestion of using Dreamweaver. You can type nice code and it won't rearrange it in some weird M$ way or add a bunch of Dreamweaver specific stuff like frontpage was always doing to me.
Give me my laptop, late night, time alone on the project (web dev in my case) and I can be motivated for hours ...
