Not sure if anyone's found this yet (is there a master list of bugs that others have already fond somewhere?), but I incurred a very frustrating glitch ... I found an unclaimed hero wandering through a enemy (well, competitor -- I wasn't at war but my Peace Treaty expired with them) territory. It was actually just inside their border when I saw and recruited them. I had a very dominant border, and the geography there was a little complex -- basically a long bay seperated my settlement from that land where my competitor was, and my competitor actually had a settlement near the base/root of the bay. Some of my settlement's territory extended on the far side of the territory, but it was only a single square there, and there was no land route back to my settlement because of my competitor's borders. Anyway, I recruited the hero and did successfully move him to my one usable land square, whereupon of course he was stuck, so I teleported one my my sovereign's children there so that I could teleport the whole bunch back ... except it wouldn't work. I could teleport there, but teleporting back failed ... it would play the audio, give me area of sight for the area within my territory I tried teleporting back to and it would subtract the 5 Mana from my sovereign's daughter to pay for the teleport spell, but they would all remain stuck there.
Also, it was very difficult to even try to telepory -- I couldn't just select the unit, because the wandering hero (a 10% bonus administrator) kept being the 'hero' and, of course, he had no mana because I just recruited him. I wound up having to shift+click on each unit to select them all and making sure my sovereign's daughter was the last one selected, otherwise I wouldn't have any mana showing to use
The only way I was able to solve it was to teleport my sovereign in, and Imbue Champion on that hero so he could teleport himself back (along with my sovereign's daughter).
