Quick Titan Question

Good day all,

 

I used to play Sins quite a bit with a few friends and then we stopped.  One reason was that when Titans died (usually the AI ones), they would always be re-built at the same Experience Level.  This made it quite difficult and more annoying/tedious than anything else in the latter game, especially with the bonuses the AI gets on harder difficulty levels.  Did anything change here or was a mod ever created to make the Titans lose a level or two (or go back to level 1) when they are re-built?

I am pretty sure there are mods to change this, and I am pretty sure those cannot be really hard to find on these forums or on the mod collection sites, just look around

As titans level up, they get more expensive and time-consuming to rebuild.

That's not relevant to the AI though...when you kill a high level AI's titan, about all you have done is bought yourself 10-15 minutes of time, which likely won't be long enough to accomplish much since every planet will have maxed out SBs, tactical structures, and mines...that, and whatever fleet you kill will be quickly replaced....

How about you dont level the enemy titan like a noob? Ever thought of that?

What if there are multiple AIs fighting each other leveling their titans on each other?

I provide such an option in a package of extras for my Enhanced 4X Mod. However it requires the main mod to run, a stand alone version for Vanilla Rebellion did not get much support so I quit maintaining it. Also its not exactly clear if the mod is fully compatible with the new 1.82 version just released, but if not I will release an update soon.
