Ive had this issue since I purchased the game on steam on thursday and Ive looked everywhere online and not found a solution.

Ive tried everything that could be related and eveyrthing they suggested on their website, the only thing that helped was changing the settings on NVIDIA control panel, AA and super sampling seemed to help but only when the game is fully zoomed in the unit/buildings textures were fine, otherwise the white squares are still there

Hope you find a solution...and post it here...

I have a support ticket on the stardock website and no reply for 4 days, by the looks of it Im going to have to return this game without even a chance of playing it

i5 4400

nvidia 780

8gb ram

 

i cant find anything else to do that might help

Hey,

 

I had exactly the same issue. Also I could not use the newest Nvidia-Drivers. Game would not start or crash, except a few. So i was forced to use older drivers to play my games. But I had the same issues in AoS and low FPS.

The solution for me:

I tried to manually update my Windows 7. But i got an error massage. I googled and manually installed the Windows Update Manage (or something like that) after that I manually installed Windows 7 Service Pack 1. Then I could search for Windows Updates again and wow = 227 updates to install. Restarting countless times and now my system is truely updated. Now i can use the newest graphics-drivers again and most important

 

AoS works just fine. Benchmarks without those white boxes and flickering textures. On High settings I get roughly 50FPS.

 

I hope this works
