Is there a reason skirmish mode (while waiting for a multiplayer game) doesn't use multiplayer rules? It wasn't nearly as bad when you could scan the game while paused, because fuck the entire concept of luck based spawns, but now you're stuck with whatever shitty hand you're given with no way out. Plus, it's not like you can really practice debt/prioritization for actual games.
It wouldn't be nearly as bad if you could at least configure the rules between games. As it stands now waiting in the queue is dreadfully boring, playing the skirmish mode while waiting is frustrating/not fun, and I've missed games because i need to minimize out while waiting during off hours. Is there any reason for this that i'm missing?
