Lost the ability to click on ships

I don't know whether it's connected but shortly after the Dread Lords random event came to completion whenever I click on a ship the area that normally fills with information about the ship on the main screen fills with blanks.

A save and restore "fixed" the problem.

Maybe this is the same problem I encountered and reported few hours before. Just a question, in the bottom of the screen, did you happen to have advisor (you know, that small green picture, guy with headphones ;)), describing you are on technology or diplomacy screen, even when on starmap?

BTW, it is NOT connected to dread lords, I have not had them in that game. Secondly, it happens quite often for me in that particular game (lets say, each 10 - 20 turns), but in random pattern.

I been having a different ship bugs:

1) temporarly lose the ability to click on AI ships. I can double-click to find out the 1 ship but can't single click unless I quit and reload game. I get a double-beep and my own 'next ship to move' gets highlighted. This doesnt always happen.

2) Brad fixed this one in the os/2 gold ver but it re-appeared here: after a ship finishes its move, the next ship to move gets highlighted. Problem: it usually not the ship in same sector. Its very anoying when manually moving a bunch of battleships into battle to jump all over map instead of next nearest ship (or at least same sector) becomes the active ship.

Even though these are not show-stopper bugs, they are anoying.
