ship detail

no details on my ship

i have no details on my ship its just the two colors i asigned it on the apperance screen
is it because i have a low resolution? any ideas?

Can you post your debug.err log? (Located in your game directory.) Sounds like you are running at a very low resolution - you will not get a lot of detail if this is the case.

What video card do you have? What chipset does it use. I'll bet that will answer this problem really quick.

Post the contents of the debug.err file found in the folder where you installed GalCiv2 (Usually Program Files/Stardock/GalCiv2). That will give us the info we need to find your problem.

FYI, missing textures is usually a result of having an unsupported video card (Geforce 4 MX or GeForce 2 for example) or by non US-English numeric settings in windows control panel.
