Just curious as to what's new in Beta 4 .018 that's now available.

I am afraid to grab it because of the old save game load problems before.

But I gotta say I love coming home and seeing a new version. Me Likey Patches!

Yeah - I just opened up SDC and Beta .18 was availabe for download...off to check the Journals section...

In SDC just click on the history.

Basically there was a bug that could cause the game to crash at start for some people and we added the abilitiy to cycle through planets witha hot key Z and X (select a planet first).

I only see the Journal for 4A .17 .... I downloaded that last night....now 4A .18 is available, and I don't see a new Journal entry log for it yet...unless my browser is acting up again (vey possible).

Oh well, just updated it...I'll see soon as I finish up work.

Just wondering: Whose idea was it to make Starports indestructible? That seems crazy to me, especially since the AI foolishly builds a starport on every single planet.

Noob Question: Where do I find this "journal" or "history"?

I've got SDC (stardock central) - but there is no history tab, or button, or etc. Nor is there is a Journal tab, button, etc.
Right-clicking on the game in SDC doesn't have a journal/history, etc.

Sorry, I'm sure i'm staring at it and just not seeing the tree for the forest...

In SDC, click on Galactic Civilizations II in the games list. Info about the game will appear in the bottom frame. You should see a button that says "History" in the top right corner of that bottom frame.

Also, the journals are on this website. Look at the buttons on the left of this page. Brad usually posts change logs in the journals.
