Need someone to cut out a picture from white background.

Is this task really difficult?

Good Day,

I have given it my all using Picture-it, MGI Photo Suite, and Paint to cut away a fire vehicle from the white background. The white is just too blinding on these old eyes. If anyone with this God given talent can do this it would be greatly appreciated; can send the picture.

A fire vehicle? As in a vehicle on fire, or a firetruck type vehicle >_>? I vehicle on fire would be difficult, but I'd be willing to give whatever it is a shot. You can send it to [email protected] if you'd like. I have some free time right now, and what better way than to photoshop, eh lol.

Your intentions are good but if you don't mind some advice, don't put your email on any site, especially blog sites. Try doing it like this

keikonium at gmail or keikonium @ gmail, that way if there is a bot around looking for emails to send spam, they might not get your email. Just thought I let you know.

I see you have a few takers, but if it's not coming out like you want let me know.  I have done this many times.

Should be a piece of cake..fire or not, for anyone with a decent Graphix prog..
you can lift images pretty easily these days, or remove them so they arent in the way of something in the background... It's pretty amazing, and isnt all that difficult..

I have no problem removing objects from backgrounds, but if you could see through the fire, I hate seeing another background behind it. This is just my experience with semi-transparent images. I use Photoshop CS2 .

I'll do it, if I can put a Troll in the engine.

'56 Ford hood? Awesome, Po'. Would like one of these!

The first 2 are with the BG you sent, so you can get an idea of what they will look like. The right angle image is one I found and cut out. I can remove the Troll if you really want me to.

I'd also have to adjust the brightness and contrast a tad, let me know if these will work.
I coudn't make out the emblem on your pic to add it to these, and I know the font is not an exact match. I can email it without the font.

One other thing...the fire hydrant would not open in photoshop. I got some goofy message about an unknown or unassociated jpg tag or something.

Well PO, I think I have finally met someone with more time on their hands than myself. *bows*

That may be about to change. Happily cause it needs to and sadly cause it will mean less time on here and less time bashing the Troll. But I think I am getting a promotion to District Supervisor at my P/T job. Starting Monday I will be spending the next 2 weeks out of town learning some stuff. Keep your fingers crossed.

You have to be 'special' to ride the short bus.

Most Excellent Master Apprentice Po' Smedley! I noted these were in png. Can these be converted into jpg? I tested by placing these samples into my pictures bmp;jpg not available. On placing pic #1 and #2 on the desktop everything was blurry/fuzzy. Any way to adjust? Was the sharpness of the blue background lost as it went through the mail possibly? Maybe due to our screen being 1600x1200? We very much like both! As mentioned, MGiff's lightbars (red) and (red & white) will set pic #1 off top-dollar. On pic #2 we can just place the lightbar at the top since it does not angle as an object. Now have decal in jpg true...but a better touch of class than the one previously e-mailed to you. No need now for the fire hydrant as this piece of art is grand.

By all means, the Troll stays. Can we order this w/two Trolls; one on each side?

Glad you liked it. I got the email and will get to it this weekend.

Sorry, only one Troll as Sir Bichur is one of a kind.

Adding, most helpful at times! Tango Yankee on further assistance. I would imagine giving you the info 1600 x 1200 helped a tad. Any questions, just e-mail as this specific computer is on-line 24x7 monitoring weather. Tropical Storms and Hurricane Season is June 1st and we are expecting heavy traffic from the east of us here in the U.S. Virgin Islands. BTW, best of fortune on your promotion! We are sure you will get it!

P.S. If you don't now design/customize vehicles, your talent as exhibited in the bus would without any doubt make you a comfortable man/family included! You would not be the guy getting his hands dirty, just the guy designing on an individual basis for those wanting a special vehicle. Sir Bichur is a very lucky man to ride in that a!

If Po' or somebody comes up with a couple of Dogs O' Fire for the front, I'm willing to ride in the back.
Else if the Dogs want 2 Trolls, go ahead and clone/mutate me.

whoa! fastest response I've seen from y'all. Must be doing some R&R, eh?
