Softly sleeping,
Barely breathing,
Curled up on the bed.
Walking tiptoe,
Silently sealing,
Feather kisses on her head.
Sighing,
Turning,
In the doorway,
Stealing one last glance.
Off to slay the corporate dragons
And earn her love,
Perchance.
