What improvements to the UI were made? I noticed that their are more news items, but what else?

One thing I couldn't find in the changelog, what happened to auto-focus? Is it dead?

I want to finish my current 1.11 game first, so I cannot try the beta right now ...

Auto focus is now an option.

It is dead unless you want to toggle it on.

The new UI is great especially the planet screen and the tool tips on the shipyard that tells you the details of what the components are that are on the ship.
