This now means that you are also responsible for speading the Diplomats cause throughout the Metaverse and the training of new recruits.

On a different note. The first four new members to join the empire will be automaticaly made into senators. After which we will add 1 new senator for every 5 new recruits.

Excerpt from Emperor Spellforce's journal...

“With Klikiss as our new base of operations, we now have the ability to peacefully attack any empire in the metaverse that uses military power to oppress its opposition. We have the power to stop all major warfare in the galaxy through our peaceful diplomacy.”

“Following the arrival of Slothrop from our training facility, I believe the time is right to spread the word of our cause to the metaverse. This will aid us in the recruitment of more diplomats and make us even more powerful than I ever dreamed possible.”

Note : check the weapons stockpiles and verify the report of the  ‘missing’ WMD. This is most worrying!

First, let me thank you for granting me an honorary membership!

Secondly, what sort of rules were you thinking of? Things such as Don't destroy other empire's bar? LOL

Basically i would like a set of empire guidelines for the new site. Any ideas you have, funny or serious would be great! And yes please post them here. when there are a fair few (hopefully) the senate will decide which ones to keep as empire guidelines.

I seemed to have done a good job when you were my apprentice, young SpellForce, however I wish I had taught you the valuable trait of loyality. As it stands since you have dedicated your life to prevent war I will gladly take a spot as an honorary member. Although don't expect this to stop the Evil Empire's plans to return to its moment in the sun, nothing will stop us.

With that said, it is an honor to be respected, any help (within reason) that my Evil Empire 5th Fleet could do for the diplomats don't hesitate to ask, you never know I may say yes. On that note, don't forget that everybody has their own agenda so don't take everything for face-value.

Diplomacy is not pacifism. We can negotiate from strength! However, I do think there should be some rule concerning the building and use of terror stars. And perhaps certain kinds of negotiation on the point of a bayonet - or dreadnought. What do you think?

The one thing to remember about this empire is that the scores we get playing the game are not really the main thing. the main thing is that you enjoy each game you play and dont turn into some sort of game spitting machine. The sky is the limit here. feel free to stride into other empire threads and stomp doen the heavy boots of diplomacy.

if you think the empire should go down the road of no terror stars, dreadnaughts or even military victories, then if we agree it will be so.:)

Perhaps as the best diplomats always try to see all sides of the picture you should play as neutrals?

You can play using the neutrals mod, I've been working on! On that note spellforce I am having a problem, I can't work out how to create a tech which you can research only if your alignment is between 40 and 60, can you help? If not I may release my mods with no alignment requirement, which would be a shame (:(

I think military victories and strength are important to give your diplomats credibility. I guess I was only talking about the ability to wipe out an entire planet at a go. Perhaps the rule should be that you may build a terror star, but to use it, will require a petition to the Senate of the Diplomats on this forum? (By the way, I assume that this is really what a terror star does - this trainee-graduate has never actually finished building a terror star to check what it actually does.)

your terror star can also be fitted with diplomatic picks as well turning it into a moving party place capable of coverting whole worlds!
