SDC says my serial number is invalid

I was able to update to one of 1.3 beta releases, but now when I try to update it tells me that my serial number is invalid.  I've cut and pasted my email address and serial number from the email "Upgrade Information and Serial Numbers for your Stardock products" that I received from Stardock.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Where exactly are you having this problem at? Are youa ttempting to re-register in SDC, or are you talking about the activation prompt when you run the game again?

Yes I am haveing a similar problem I had a system crash and had to redo my system stardock locates and installs the program fine but the game comes up with a serial number invalid or system (SID I think) wrong I have used the emailed serials and the cd serials the same thing happens Darn I just want to play >

If you had to reinstall Windows then you need to reactivate your copy of GalCiv II, as activation is tied to your Windows installation. Just go to your GalCiv II directory and delete the sig.bin file. Then in Stardock Central, select the game, right-click, and click on Activate w/logging. That should do it.
