You know what's fast becoming a pet peeve of mine? Bloggers who just blog with no apparent reason or thought in mind than to just say shit and leave it at that. When they write and you try to have a discussion with them they get all up in arms, bent out of shape and then comes the name calling.


It's like dealing with my four year old only worse!


I won't beat around the bush, I'll just say who has got me going here. This new blogger on the scene Jennifer1 happens to be the one to whom I'm referring.

Take case in point, the following blog to which I responded: Link.


I guess I should have known better than to respond to it but I did:

You're style of writing is condecending and insulting. Perhaps you could be less insulting in your attitude when you make replies? You do not have to talk down to people you know.<BR>

I felt badly that she took my response that way because truthfully I thought maybe it's not so much what I said, but how I said it. You know how that happens sometimes. So I wrote another response:

I have seen her commenting on a lot of blogs, but I will watch her responses closer.  It was before my time, but some talk about a guy trying to impersonate a girl.  Not sure of the purpose there.  But then there was the Indian gal.  She seemed nice enough to begin with, but it was apparent later that whatever she was, truthful was not one of them.

I agree with you about being willing to take responses at this site. if you don't want responses and just want to write, use a JOURNAL or a blog site like Blogger. No-one ever even touched my blog there . . . (consequently, neither do I anymore )

I was trying to fix my writing, JU's formatting is slow to catch up, so my blog will look different. Trying to give the look more clarity.

A comment like this coming from the man who insulted Pearl92 the way you did - it is not surprising. Your lack of empathy with her was appalling, and the fact her english typing was not brilliant - you just had to lay into her did you not?

Jennifer, JU is quite open and belongs to Brad Wardell who allows us to blog here. You have been flippant and self righteous from the first blog here. YOUR BEHAVIOUR makes it difficult for anyone to want to read someone who is new to blogging. Other's have come on board who have not done what you're doing.

Serenity,  I just got home about two hours ago,  it's 3 now,  and read this first after my brunch.   Ye Gads,  this gal is writing like me!!!   The expressions,  the kind of attitude I take sometimes,  serenity it scares me!

Really it does.  No joking.

One thing that was comforting was the lack of spelling skills.  I think I do better than spelling the word your "yur".   Heavens to mergatroit.  However my son informs me that I make many spelling mestikes   I don't beleive hem fer a sicond!!

I haven't read this person yet,  I do see how upset you were and maybe she reminded you of me?  that would explain your intense feelings given how I've behaved lately....you think maybe??

My name is Jennifer I am 45 years old and I live in the UK. I have never professed ever to be anything else. So stop inferring that I am a bloke because I wrote a sentence saying If I was a white bloke - the operative word in the sentence was IF. If you read it properly you will see that.

The only and again I say THE ONLY person I have "been rude to" as you put it
is yourself! I found the way you wrote your response to be dismissive and condecending. Yes it enflamed me and it still does. That is all part of the fun of blogging. You take the good with the bad the punches with the hair strokes. I moved on from that yonks ago. But for some reason you want to carry on with it. If it makes you feel better then do so, hence my saying I hope you are feeling better serenity.

If I am all over the place - so what - it is a reflection of who I am. Do I critise (spelling) your personality? I may not be as educated or well versed as you my dear but at least I give it the full tonk! I try and try and try and if you find that annoying - wwell that is just too bad, because I will keep trying. I have been through too much in life to be knocked flat by the likes of you or others.

Another example is my blog on israel, lebanon usa etc i state there that I will not start listing facts and figures, I state very cleary that these are just random thoughts of mine on the situation.

My blog on Revcerse racism the one that you answered so condescendingly I even say I stand to correction on the names of the police associations.

My blog about men - a true rant and rave of a well earned hatred of men, when you have walked a mile my shoes and experienced what I had to experience and go through to earn the right to say openly I hate men and all they stand for then and only then can you demand subtantiation on that subject my dear.

I do not and have never professed to be anything other than who I am so stop all that nonsense once and for all. Take the good with the bad. I suggest it is you whose nose is more out of joint by my response to your response.

Trudy that happens to be a typing error, I always put the word (spelling) behind a word I am unsure of.

For someone who just this afternoon said she could not stand all the bickering on site, you are certainly adding fuel to the fire?

On the contrary, if you got to know Forever you would see she is an incredibly sweet and fun person here on JoeUser. She is one of my favorite people here to read. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, as you say, and I think she just felt the need to express hers on your blog.

I am having fun blogging and that is what it is all about sweetpea. Try enjoying it sometime and stop being so serious.

I think this is the first time in my lifetime I've been accused of being vindictive. Wow! I was debating whether to give you the points or Donna, and figured I know Donna, so I will say it here.

I dont know if you are a fraud or not.  I will say you have hit the ground running and as you see, that does make some people mad.  I will not say enemies at this time.  many of these people have been blogging here for years, and we do read each other, so I guess that is our advantage as we can see a wink and smile behind a plain sentence.  You have yet to learn the personalities and nuances.  That is not a condemnation, just a statement of fact.

If you are who you say you are, keep blogging and continue to be who you are.  We will learn you, and in turn, you will learn us.  But If you are not, it will come out.  The cases I spoke about in my first reply are 2 that were very real.  And it did not take long to spot that they were frauds.  So you really dont have much to worry about on the upside.

You are very opinionated, and that is good.  But expect others to be just as opinionated.
