Need some help please

I'm just trying out to make a simple windowblind, I already did the design of the start menu but when I load the image to Skinstudio to cut it out, this is what appears instead of the image...

and the real image is this one

any thoughts or suggestions?

I did that once making a png for an animated walking dragon object.

weird thing was, then png was all mixed colors yet the animation looked/worked perfect.

I got no suggestion, I just figure somebody is gonna ask: what program did you use to make the png?

Well it's really weird, but maybe it works like your animation but the problem is I can't see the image to cut it

And I used 3ds max to make it, does it affect in any way?

I don't know. I still haven't progressed beyond animated "icons".

So, if you take your png and make a copy and import the copy, does it do the same thing?

It must - I have the same thing happen depending on what program i use to open an image. For instance - if I open an image made in photoshop in i_view - i looks nothing like the image at all. Looks like your image with white lumped in places. If I use one program to make an image with a gradiant - when I open it with different program its no longer an image - its just a blob of colours. But if I take the same image and open it in paint.net then resave the png again - next time i open it in the same program its now back to an image.

Dont ask me to 'splain it cause I cant.

Hey J. Not sure if it makes a difference but what you could try is to open start menu image in photoshop or paint shop pro or gimp etc, and save as from there as the same type image it is and see if that works better.

I have been playing at this for a few min. and have been able to open and use a png avatar image made in PSPX, a Apophysis png and bmp a Bryce bmp and even a 16 color 4 bit bootskin image.

This is the result, NOW remember this was just testing
