What Program do you use to Make Icon?

Hey guys.

I am having some trouble making icons and i woud like to know what programs other designers use to make icons. I have used adobe photoshop CS2 and corelDraw. Is there an easier tool.

i think i may be the only one on this site who uses this, but i use a program called Art Explosion Publisher Pro.

I use Photoshop CS2, and it seems to do the job for me. Then if I want to convert my icons to ICO format I use Axilias Icon Workshop. Works for me.

RealWorld Icon Editor is a good alternative to other icon makers, it has some unique features that can save time.

Here are two tutorials:
1) converting images to icons - with per image shadow effects
2) creating icon from 3D model - without leaving the app

I'm using Axilias Iconworkshop for Icons and Axilias Cursor for creating cursors for my own
