Accelerated Start

I am trying to find a way to "speed-up" the beginning of the game. The Accelerated Start option is 'ok' but it only lets you play as the Human race.

Is there an option in the game similar to the option in Master of Orion 3 where you can have the computer play out X number of turns and then you step in?

This would be nice.

The only thing i can think of, is to use the cheatcode that allows you to switch races. That way you could start a game, quickly 'end turn' for however many turns you like, then switch races.

Your original race would then be run by the AI and they would have a problem hehehe

Sadly no such divice was implemented. There might be a way to mod this in. Lets ask the devs.

It would definately be feasable, just not popular enough. I for one would find little use for such a feature.
