EA's Larry Probst Stepping Down, Former COO Stepping Up
Elevation Partners' John Riccitiello Moves In

John Riccitiello has left his position as CEO of VG Holdings, the operating company for BioWare/Pandemic, to step in for the departing CEO of Electronic Arts Larry Probst. Probst will remain the CEO until April 2nd, Riccitiello's official start date, and remain with the largest third-party publisher as executive chairman of the Board of Directors. Riccitiello is already very familiar with EA, serving as the company's COO until 2004 when he left to co-found Elevation Partners.
