Moderation issue

Some of the wall images are, how you say.....'familiar'.  That can cause delays and alarm bells to ring as works are supposed to be the property of the uploader and thus 'shouldn't' be familiar...

the reason for my post was to make sure you got the 10 uploads
whether you except them or not is up to you , allot of my work uses
common Subject matter which has been done many times
before ,ie the sky the earth and space
some of my walls lately came from video that I froze a frame
and copied into photo shop and then re-worked into a wall
so i guess that could be considered familiar if you saw the video

I'll trust in your judgement of course what you except or
reject and try to do better

I was wondering though about the Shark Dream , did you get it
and just don't like it ??

I pulled a couple things out that i thought
might be in question with you guys and re-submitted
some new work for approval hope to hear about it

The Trick is to leave it alone Azdude, LoL...They will determine what they dont want and what they do.. Just submit new work as new work..not as replacements...

Also, I have found that it helps to get permissions whenever possible, an Email doesnt take long to compose, in most cases others are thrilled that you want you use something of theirs in your work..

alot of rejections are going thru, we need a place where users can post without so much criticism. I have submitted over 10 dreams, all rejected. Just to add, my files contained no copyrighted material stolen from others. This whole Dreamscene thing turned out to be a real bust.............

Have "faith" in your moderators guys... They have been doing this awhile and really do know whats "worthy" & whats not.. Once in awhile a "slip-up" but with the volume of files that get uploaded for their approval, thats to be expected, I would actually expect it to happen ALLOT more than it does, bottom line is, they do a decent job...

Lets face it, "Dreams" should be unique otherwise the servers are going to get filled up and flooded with "Any old thing" ..

I know, *You made that one, and it *Is the coolest one ever! (they always are!, LoL)
Take a deep breath and create another "Original Masterpiece" and keep uploading..The Mods arent there to cheat you out of anything, they are there to maintain some sort of order over the uploading chaos that "is"

10 dreams and not one accepted, you say. Without sounding too harsh, perhaps you should consider your own work before blaming the moderators at this site.

If I were to submit 10 dreams and not even one were to be accepted, that would ring off bells in my mind that maybe, just maybe, I'm doing something wrong...

ioniangod21, Hi...There are a few people that frequent these forums that make dreams you see uploaded to the site...So you could create a post asking questions about various dreams you have made, and learn some tips & tricks and of course share your knowledge with others.

I can only see two submissions. One is badly pixellated and of poor resolution, the other - these are your own words "I am not the author and wish to give credit to whoever created it" - requires permission to be included, giving credit is insufficient.

Hello again, I see you haven't received the rest of my submissions, wouldn't matter anyway. However I don't steal which is why I stated the one submitted file was a unknown author. Anyway check out gmanvideo and other loop making sites on the net for superior wallpapers compared to what's available here. gmanvideo also sells his loops on ebay for a big discount making them cheaper than Stardocks premium dreams......

No matter what you do, I guess we will always have ignorant people plaguing our boards...

Then why may I ask are you here? Might I suggest you run along to a superior site?

But I also believe that "Opinions", Different ideas/views should not be discouraged...

There is no need to be critical of "presenting" an opinion.
Critical discussion "of" the opinion is welcome.

Now everyone play nice. 

1.  Moderation can take up to 5 business days.  This is the extreme case, but it does happen sometimes.  Saturday & Sunday are not business days.  If you submit at 7pm on a Friday night, there's a chance it won't be seen until Monday.

2.  If you "found something on the Internet" and do not provide proper credit or permission, the item will typically be rejected.  We accept original work, or work that you have permission to reuse/redistribute.  If you don't have permission, it is considered ripping.  It doesn't matter if you couldn't find the original author.

3.  If there is question over the source of work in the moderation queue, all work by the author is held while the matter is looked into.  So if you submit to multiple galleries, and we find something suspect about one item, all submissions are temporarily on-hold until we can resolve the issue.  (This was the case with AzDude's original post)

There are only two uploads recorded to your name in the Dream gallery.  We can see items that have been posted, rejected, deleted by user etc.  The other 8 you say you uploaded probably encountered an error and never made it in.  Your two items were rejected because they didn't meet requirement #2.
