Moderation issue

are they there ?

from WinCustomize Forums
I currently have 10 items in moderation
they show on my WC site as waiting for moderation
6 of these items have been waiting 7-9 days now
one is my " Shark Attack " Dream - status ?

I just want to know if they are there ? Did you get them ?
or are some missing and i'm waiting for nothing
and need to re-submit ?

If you could check and see if they are there
I would be gatefull - as you have time of course

It's original. I would think that there may be more 'science/biology' type Dream's. I remember a lot of the films I've seen in school and some of the amazing stuff you see on the Discovery channel's and believe there is a lot of potential for some cool stuff in this area.

The Dream's area is new and growing. If you were to go back and look at some of the first windowblinds, where not even the taskbars were skinned, you might wonder how they ever got into the gallery at all.

I would think with Dream's there will/can be a lot of learning and inspiration coming from other's trials and errors.

Problem is why follow the dream submission guidelines posted on this site as regards resolution etc. when this gets approved and no way does its resolution/loop follow guidelines?
Perhaps the dream uploads have slowed down and anything will do.
Just my personal opinions.

00NukE has a good point...will anything do? I hope not not cuase i sure as hell aint putting crap on my system, just so someone who sees my screen can say that was sure dumb to put that on there..then i can say that at wincustomize anything will do since the standards are low...but that won't happen now will it..standards are here for a reason and that reason is for people who want QUALITY, a dream that was built using standards, rules, guidlines, etc....but hey hey nice try, just try a little bit harder...

No one is asking you to.

Go back and look at some of the early windowblinds and iconpackages. Look at some of the blinds by first time skinners and then look at how far they have come. A lot of them honed their talents through trial and error and 'constructive' criticism.

Dreams is new. Some folks are just getting their feet wet with this. Give it time for some of the noobs, and instead of complaining, maybe you could leave a helpful comment or suggestion for them. Sometimes, I will download something just because I don't particularly like it or think it's done well, just to really check it out.
