Never at a loss for skinning ideas,I was however having trouble deciding what to start after Knot Vista.
vStyler was bugging me every damn day..."so...what you gonna do next?"

"Dammit John,I aint even finished Knot Vista yet" I says.

"maybe a theme based on the SR71 Blackbird,...or something that looks like vintage guitar equipment"

Instead I went with a chinese abacus...go figure.

By the time I get ready to 'attempt'a Veesta version...WB6 and SKS6 should be out of beta.  

where its the step-by-step tutorial


its all layer styles...the most important tip I can offer is with stroking...strokes done well(along with teeny inner shadows) can disguise jaggies.

Ok ...for starters ... the taskbar:

Ferinstance, could those open folder indicators 'slide' along the brass tubes ..and 'disappear/slide' into an unseen area, as they were closed ...and 'slide' back into view if they [or a new window/app] were opened again?

and .. the 'executables' [all programs menu]:

Would it be feasible/possible to add 'slide' sideways horizontal brass tubing, so that it also appears to slide out from the main startmenu?

This, of course is quite possibly just gobbledygook to you ...and can quite safely be disregarded as nonsense.   

Just keeping within the whole 'slide' thingy you've got going on there....
