Downloading

I am very new to this forum, but recently I have been having issues downloading IconPackager (along with various other products) from here. I will try and explain this best I can.

Okay I have tried three different times to download IconPackager, each time I do the download begins but then does not finish. I am on dial-up so it takes awhile for my downloads to finish and when they do I locate the folder they are in, and double click. It comes up with an error saying not a valid win32. Am I doing something wrong here at all?

You need to have the IconPackager program to use any of the icons for it. You can get it here WWW Link

Better yet buy object desktop and you will be able to use all of the themes and theme parts WWW Link

not a valid win32 is an indication the download corrupted.

are you using a download manager? some of them don't play well with various servers.

are you downloading the trial version or the paid version?

I was downloading the trial just for now, but most likely will buy it. And as to your question, Firefox has that download thing automatically. other than that I guess I could try using IE.

Edit Note: The download manager was not the problem. I just tried downloading it through IE and it did the same thing to me. It would download for a little bit. Then it said complete and I would try opening it and it would say not a valid win32 application.

when you download it, what's the file name with extension after it's saved.

I use either Firefox or Leechget (for iconpackages)

you could also try using Stardock Central aka SDC, Stardock's downloader/installer/uninstaller/browser/chat/etc
