dreamscene frustration

Ok, I did my best searching on the forums here, but didn't see an answer to my problem.  Sorry if I missed it.

I just upgraded to Vista Ultimate (32) and the went right for DreamScene.  I got one or two of them working, but now every time I try to select one, I get a message saying that DreamScene can only run when Windows Aero scheme is used.  So, I go and set my scheme to Aero and go immediately back to try and set the background and get the same message.

Any thoughts?  Simple explainations might be helpful.

Not all video cards support Aero. You should post your hardware configuration.

What was the app?  Someone else might have the same problem and the info might help them.

Maybe it is a long work but why dont you uninstall al the programs you have and install them back one by one and see wich is making trouble

format?

make a backup!!
