Trade Route screen confusion

I'm a bit confused with the Trade screen.

First, there's a mini-map showing the actual routes but the lines seem to change color. Why? WHat do the colors represent?

Second, the list of trade routes at the top doesn't always give any data when clicked. FOr instance, I'll sometimes get "N/A" or blank fields in the route details area.

Third, some routes don't show in the list at all. For example, I have 3 routes in my current game but only two of them are listed.

Any help is appreciated. TIA

Color coding is for who initiated the trade route(civ color) and your currently selected trade route (white)

Not sure on the N/A usually means the trade route is no longer available.

If you see 3 trade routes on the mini map and two routes at the top. Another civ sent a feighter to one of your worlds i.e. They established the trade route not you.

It's odd because the trade route shows in the mini-map and it's definitely listed but when I click the listing all the fields are empty. Bug?

Gotcha. Thanks!

What is supposed to be shown in the upper right portion of this display? Just your trade routes, or the top performing trade routes?

The reason I ask is that the 'show all' button has never worked for me on this screen. Clicking does nothing. But in my first 3-4 games, I just saw my route info in the upper right. I saw the lines on the map indicating the AI routes, but the information displayed in the upper right was solely my routes. But in my current game, that info shows 2 of my routes (the top two) and then 6 other routes which seem to have missing info when clicked on, sort of like what the original poster reported.

So, what is the 'show all' button supposed to do, and does it work for anyone else? Also, is there a way to toggle on/off the AI route lines on the map?

Finally, on a related note, if the Drengin initiate a trade route with me, when their freighters are in sectors of mine that have SBs with trade route enhancing modules in them, will the inc either of us recieve be augmented?

How do you kill a trade route that another civilization has started? It says you can do so in the manual.

Also, how do you embargo trade w/ other civs like it says you can in the manual. Because my enemy is always trying to set up trade routes w/ me >:( .
