I Just Got a Mac. Now What Do I Do Without My Right Click?

How do I post pictures on JU with a Mac?

With my PC I just right clicked on the picture and then copied the picture url in the info and pasted that in the handy little link box.

Now I can't figure out how to get to the image properties. Grrrrr.

Please save me! I'm even willing to endure some sarcasm and pontification to learn how to do this!

Also, how come the quote feature doesn't work with the mac? Is it me? Am I smelly or something? I know I could just type in the html for the quote but I keep forgetting to look it up.

Okay. I became independent and googled the question.

answer: Hold control while clicking on mouse.

But I'm still wondering about the quote feature.

Okay. I got the link and the box opened up. I pasted the link in the box clicked okay and.... nothing.

Babkas.

Easy Solution #2: Go out, buy a USB PC mouse, plug it in.  Macs will recognzie and use the right mouse button.  2-button mice have worked on Mac OS since the late 90s

My iMac came with the "Mighty Mouse" which has two (actually more) buttons.

When I need a right-click, I right-click.

Do you have a laptop?

I use to work in an agency that was about 40% Macs, and the rest PCs.  So we had to support both platforms.  one of the techs, not too great on the uptake, had the best line I know of yet.  When asked by a Mac user how to do something, he would reply "do it the same as you do it on the PC, except in the mac way....".

I still love to use that quote.

Manual? I didn't get no stinkin' manual!

It's all on the computer so if I don't know the right search phrase I don't get nuttin'. I really prefer to have a book to hold in my hands.

No quote feature on this browser? Stupid browser. I still can't post pictures in a reply. I can only post pictures in an original article. How weird is that? Stupid browser.
