Just read the (excellent) Games Domain review. Love the idea of the 'Epic Generator' - not heard about this before. Is it still planned? If so, any idea when it will be released?

Take notes and exercise your writing ability :) The After Action Report forum at Paradox (EU2, HOI) has some excellent stuff, also check out the Tsunami thread (18 player multiplayer game!).

Thanks for the post (I was beginning to wonder if anyone was interested! ;) ). I have read many of the AARs for EU2, although some of them are just a little too 'elaborated' for me ;p . As for GC, I'm struggling to find the time to play the game let alone write AARs afterwards!

BTW, just remembered, doesn't EU2 generate a list of game events, which makes it easier to write AARs - no need to make a written note of game events? Sounds similar to the Epic Generator...

Yeah it's got a history file you can access (history.txt) and it's also appended to the save game. Useful for reference but screenshots and notes are needed to write a good AAR.

The epic generator sound realy interesting.
maybe not a showstopper but sounds like a fun thing.
