1 Per Galaxy still not working?

Am I the only one still seeing this? The "1 per Galaxy" (NOT "1 per race") projects are still being built by multiple races.

Yeah, I definitely had one of the trade goods built by the Altarians the turn after I finished building it. So it's not completely fixed yet.

It's still not working in 1.02. Trade goods too- multiples of them all over the place.

I have had it happen on one occasion of which I'm aware. Admittedly, when I played on lower levels, I only traded off the trade goods rarely.

Based on my experience the problem seems to be that when a unique item is completed by one race, any other race that has already started it is allowed to keep working on it. I've seen many examples of another race building a unique item that I've already completed, and I've also seen another race finish something I'm building, and I've been able to finish it anyway.

One thing that seems to work right is that unique items which are completed by one race are taken off the list of new items that can be started. They just aren't being removed from any planet's "actively building" slot. (at least that's what it looks like to me)

If they fix this does anyone know what's supposed to happen to the production capacity that's already been invested in a unique item if you have to abandon it? Will it just be lost, or will it be possible to salvage some of it?

I saw this happen in my latest game with two independent races. One built Aphrodesiacs, then a few turns later, the other did. However, when I go to negotiate with them, only one of the independent races has it. So they may be spending the money on it, just not getting it.

Actually in my game 2 races has Diplomatic Translators, havent tested with 1.02 yet, but I will shortly.

This has happened to me in every game since I updated. In addition, it always seems to happen with Tri-Strontium Steel. I think that is the only one that has been duplicated. In addition, each race that has built it can trade it. I know that in the past it was mentioned that only the first one will actually appear in the trade window, even if two race build it. It is definitely appearing for ALL races who are allowed to build it.
