interview with intimacy

"well, you can’t blame me ... ”
spits the lust at the intent
“ ... i may have done it, but it’s only what YOU meant”

“then, you can’t blame me ...“
says the action to the guilt
“ ... i'm the one that made it, but YOU ordered it built”

“well, it wasn’t me ... ”
shouts i think towards i feel
“ ... i was only asking, but YOU had to make it real”

“well, it’s not OUR fault ... ”
whispers consequence to shame
“ ... we tried so hard to tell them, still it's us who bears the blame”

Wow! This is EXCELLENT!

You can sure say a lot with just a few words, very impressive.

Wow. I'm not usually into poetry, but I liked this piece. Maybe it was the unusual layout. Well done.

mr_frog, i've been trying to break my bad habit of writing poems in a standard sort of layout, so i am very pleased to have had this comment from you, as i had wondered if it would "read" well written that way. thanks for the feedback, and i'm very glad you liked it

Miggggg, ok can I just say WOW, I don't have anything constructive to say at all, but as I said when I think WOW, I will show my appreciation to the author, which is my lovely blog Mummy, so lots of appreciation coming your way!

as i had wondered if it would "read" well written that way

Mig one of the things I completely adore about your writing, is the way you lay out what you say, not only does it make it flow perfectly, and make it a complete pleasure to read, but it's your own style, I don't need to see your name on your work, because I can tell from the style it's you, and you're all style baby! Keep the poetry coming, educate me on the fine art!

That's a great line Mig, as usual I'm impressed and in awe of your way with words and emotions.

Being a minimalist by nature this work really appeals to me. As others have said you have managed to express so much with so little.

Great work, and thanks for sharing.

thanks, carlos. (i decided i'd use your name sometimes ). i wish i was as as "under control" as this poem

cs guy, i too like to think of myself as minimalistic with words, and though i rarely succeed to cut out the superfluosity, i am always pleased when i can ... AND when it gets noticed. thankyou

Simply amazing. Great work

thanks m-post. it's hard to overstate how much i appreciate this feedback. the world is so busy and it always gives me such a boost when somebody makes time to read my stuff. i'm very glad you enjoyed it, and i'm very grateful for your saying so. thankyou

This is fucking amazing mig (damn I suck at commenting on poems)

macky, you don't. you don't !. this is a great comment. it's exactly the kind of reaction i like. i'm sort of relieved that you said that actually, cause i think that about some of your stuff, and then i write this nice flowery comment instead, in case it sounds vulgar. (prepare for future vulgar comments heh)

Bravo! My own poems tend to be overly wordy, like im afraid that people wont "get them" if i dont write in a literal sense

oh, little_whip, your poems are art. i'm planning to re-read your "handful of misc poems" over and over. they stir such a range of emotions. funny, i don't find you too wordy at all. heh. i just sit there going "ahhhh, lovely, mmm"

mig XXX

ps: little_whip and macky, if you come back and see this, i wondered if you read each others' work ?. (i can't remember from comments). 'cause i think that you would enjoy each others poems but you post at vastly different times, so i'm not sure if you each see the others' stuff ... i'm blabbing hehe ... you get the idea
