Metaverse Recalculations - all or none!!!! >:(

Come on Stardock - play the white man - I've just been recalced for -50000 points yet several (inactive) players (eg Magnumaniac) near me in the table haven't been.

This is at least the 5th recalc (ie not from game submission!) that's happened to me since 1st December.

Please make it all or none - give us a level playing field.

Well stated Alex. Your score degrading would help me in the long run, but it is the principle of the matter. Being a new player as compared to most it was fustrating making the long climb up. Then to see some of you guys taking big point hits while others seem imune. Stardock, if you don't want other players leaving, and perhaps not buying GCII, I would reccommend you fix the problem at hand.

I've said this many a tim e... but to no avail ... it seems that to keep your score you just have to stop submitting games.. which is wrong

I have mentioned this before ...

Greldon has not submitted a game since August and has lost nothing.

Newfy stop playing a month ago and lost over 20% of his score.

About a month ago I considered playing and submitting games again. But, I would have had really work at my submissions to get my score back over 1 million. It is not worth it. I will wait until GC2 and hope that the metaverse is more consistant then.

sheesh... did i do all that talking about how much you big players would loose if you remained idol... now you guys recon its a waste of time to start playing again... I've been coping the losses but not all at once... mine have been at least 100-200 thousand a month at least... but i'm still going... you guys can't say that you weren't warned... what we are complaining about here is the fact that some retired players scores arn't getting ANY aging applied at all... while the more active of us are... it sucks and not fair

PS: you could always start another player like Sooooo many have done.. but i call that cheating tooo.. I still only have 1 player on here.. unlike atleast 4 others i know of... who have 2-3 maybe even more ... who knows (Stardock does...but they arn't telling.. even though it is abusing the system..eg: if i wanted to i could rtight now start another player submitr one game of 60,000 / month.. and in no time at all my empire would climb the charts.. thats why its not fair)

Stardock, as I've stated before, I really don't care what rules and formulas there are for the metaverse. All I want is that they be uniform for all and clearly outlined.

I was going to start another player but I felt that it was not right. I do not think I would call it cheating though. If Stardock allows it then it is not cheating.

What made it not right for me though is the metaverse doesn't do a recalc on every one that stops playing.

I do not think that Stardock will fix the metaverse recalc problem because they are very busy on the new game GC2.

I personally don't think that they need to fix it at this time either.

I do not want them to take time away from the GC2 development.

Agree I do not think Stardock should or will waste resources to see why some players are immune from recalulation, but the Metaverse will be around for awhile and the bug that some players never get touched maybe easy to fix.

At the risk of drawing attention to myself, mwaahahaha ;)

I have never agreed with the recalcs especially with the 30 day no submit periods. I no longer play that often so I no longer submit.

I have only ever used one name to submit under but I can understand why some people would create a new name to try and reach the top.

Just because there is another Metaverse opening with GC2 why should this one suffer... i'm sure there there are some who may prefer to keep playing in this metagers aswell or if not soly... This has been a very long standing bug.. which i reported closew to 8-12 months ago... I think its about time something was done about it... Even if they close this metaverse down they should still fix it so thet the next one won't have the same failings as this one does...

There is nothing wrong with the aging systems... so long as everyone is treated the same... as i've said before it gives new players an incentive to play.. and old playewrs to continue playing or see their scores drop and become hasbeens in the game.. If i can keep playing..
