How to submit scores?

Newbie question, but I've played 2 full games now and have never been given the option to submit my game to the metaverse.

My internet connection was active at the time of both victories.

Second question: What prevents you from submitting a score, reloading and finsihing the game a slightly different way, submitting a score again, etc.?

I had this problem too, but I just realised that I hadn't registered on the metaverse - linking my game and stardock accounts, which is probably (haven't tested it yet) why I wasn't asked about the metaverse at the end of my game. :)

There's a text link in the small paragraph at the top of the first metaverse page (click the link at the top).

I don't remember reading that you had to do this anywhere before someone's message here, today. Needs a more prominient explanation of what you have to do to participate in the metaverse, perhaps?
Then again, I haven't read the manual (game manual? That's for wimps!), so maybe it's mentioned in there...?

I was registered on the metaverse. I wasn't registered under the same name I had set for my "Player Name" in the actual game itself, but I've registered that name as well on the metaverse now and still no go. I don't have a clue what the problem is.

Can anybody tell me a list of conditions that have to be met in order for you to be able to send a score to the metaverse?

This is what I have had to go through to be able to submit. !st if you have a firewall make sure you didn't deny permission for gal civ to to connect , then try restarting your computer and getting your connection again, then load your save game to finish and see if it gives you the option again. If that doesn't work, as it didn't for me 1st time , try to reinstall game and /or stardock and do the registration again. For some reason the game does't seem to recognize an internet connection that has been active for some time. It has only worked for me when I finished a game very soon after I have connected. Hope this helps
