Look at this pic...tell me what's wrong

No idea if that image will work or not, but if you do see the pic, note the number of constructors and defenders the arcaeans have put out. And they just keep churning them out one after another, just to sit there and bring my P4 3.06Ghz hyperthreading processor to its knees.

For clarity, that's 260+ constructors at Wardell, 263 defenders at Vizzard, and 523(!!!) constructors at Sol.

There seems to be a bug in the most recent SDC updates (possibly related to the new auto-launch from orbit) that under certain circumstances, once one ship is created, causes one of that type to be created (for free?) every turn thereafter. See the thread "Too many colony ships...".

Haven't hit it myself yet, so I can't say anything more about it.

I *think* it happens when your orbit is full of ships...

Also (and this may be normal somehow), when I go to the trade screen with Mr. Yellow, it shows he has NO starships. Obviously, he has quite a few. :)

I can see another problem, your debt's trying to rival the US's. LOL And maybe constructors should have a maintainance cost to stop this problem.

Bump! I want to finish this game. Alas, I realize this particular attempt at galactic conquest is most likely doomed. :(

Still, the Torians are on my side (they're the only ones left) and we could pull it off...

Yeah, but the "cheating AI" isn't smart enough to do anything with its ~800 constructors. :)
