It's the view that counts

you call that
shit you write
poetry?

no
I call it
droppings of
incomplete sentences
haphazardly draped
in fragments and
shards of fecal
matter calling itself
humanity

it’s what I feel
see smell and
taste
I put it out there
whatever it is
maybe someone else
knows what it
is
it’s essence
it’s paradigm
it’s dimension
it’s identity

if the rhythm of the
words
as they lay on the
paper
are too free of formal
appropriateness
is lacking in
commas hyphens and
punctuations
it may so for
reason or
not

but that is the
art of it
who can paint the
soul from standardized
forms and media?
it is what it is
as it is
in
itself

you work with it
find it’s meaning
twice
then maybe again
be the literary
or shaman or
sociologist
priest or
poet thief

it’s the view that counts.

I enjoy the style in which you pen or type your words and feelings. It seems, much like you, I vent through what I call "freewriting". It keeps the demons at bay and my minds mansion from crumbling under the pressure.....

Swimming through your words still...a thought here and a memory there.
I picture you, a wanting so deep, someone to say "ah, I never heard it put that way."
A mutual understanding of a misunderstood mind taken too long for granted.
Your outer edge doesnt match the inside, As does mine...seems easier that way.
Im then awoken by the background sound of children arguing a room away....once agin poured into the reality of life........
