warning: don't hit 'Esc' during the victory movie...

i find the cultural victory movie to be, well, a little bland. so i hit esc to skip it. bad move. the game tries to start the next turn while simultaneously displaying the "results" screen. you can kinda click on the "done" button, to submit to the metaverse (which worked), but then the main menu is all wonky too.

Hehe...we don't want any 'wonkeyness' in the game

This may end up being a problem with all full screen bink movies. We'll check it out

You can click the left mouse button to dismiss the movie and get to the summary screen. I watched the cultural movie once and mouse it away ever after.

Yeah, the mouse works fine. I had that problem once, but didn't connect it to using the ESC key, because I usually don't. Hasn't reoccurred since.

Yes, I believe they should 'fix' the cultural victory screen too. As with the Allied one too.

I had this `wonkiness' also. Victory animation, hit esc (I believe) and the victory information was split with the next turn attempt in 5 or 6 vertical bars, alternating between each of those screens...

Buggy. Haven't tried for a repeat.
