Colonizable planet overview?

Hi, I was curious if the game allows for a master list of known planets and their habitability ratings (for ease of selection for colonization)

Yep, this could be especially important on larger galaxies, I hope this gets added soon.

There are technologies to be researched that let you know where are better stars. The galaxie map shows you where the stars are, but not their quality.
You still have to explore the star determine how good are it's planets.

At the begining of the game you only have the details for the star systems you have explored. The planets listing includes only your explored planets, it can be sorted on different characteristics.

You mean colonised planets? we were talking about not having to manually click every solar system (which you have already explored but can't remember easily). Is there already an ability to sort them on the basis of planet level or not?

Colonized planets? The planets you have colonized can be listed and sorted by many different subjects and in assending or desending order.

Explored but not colonized: Not yet. I have heard that Stardock will be adding this feature soon, but I haven't seen any sign of it yet.

The tech that lets you see where the stars with habitable planets are is there and changes the appearance of the stars on the mini-map. The stars appear brighter in the minimap. However, only by exploring and discovering the other races can you discover which ones already colonized.
