Letters to a haiku unborn

shall I abort the haiku in my soul, nip it in the bud, instead of making it come to this cruel world?

This are my random thoughts on haikus concieved in my soul and yet to be born.

My random musings.

Darling, you came one night when I felt so low, on a day my career seemed so meaningless.

You came unannounced and took shelter in my heart and soul.

As days went, you started growing, blooming and even about to blossom.

Why dear , do you like to get born in this cruel world?

I often stare onto the blank four walls of my room, unable to sleep.

Whats the purpose of all this hectic drama called life !

"A time-worn leaf
from an aged tree
falls to the ground
with a thud.
but, alas, in the din
of the concrete jungle
of beeping sounds
and blinking horns
who cares to listen?"

You come in my heart ans soul
with a life of your own
takes shape and your own form
even without my will
oh dear you do have a will of your own!

"though the crack of my window
a little ray pierces through
and plays hide and seek
in my restless room
as i toss and turn
in my bed
jilted by sweet cruel 'morpheus'"

Who will care for a haiku
in this cruel world
which could care less
even for a homeless child
or an aged roofless poor woman
or several political refugees
victims of genocide.

"I toss and turn
wooing the seductive morpheus
and, lo
a cat peeps in
with pircing eyes
all aglow with the ray
i shout, shoo shoo
"
"the ray rushes out
oh miss moon
playing hide and seek
in her heavenly garden
with her beloved
seems locked in
by her papa
strict dicsiplinarian,
the heavy clouds.

"sitting quietly
doing nothing
the grass grows by itself!"

I think, dear haiky, it's better I nip you in the bud
instead of allowing you to be born
into this world cruel."
