Ok guys, to answer your questions:

Yes, Novocastrian stands for newcastle upon tyne. I'm half french half italian but live in the UK and also a big fan of NUFC, so I have to balance my passion for europe with my passion for the team. So here is the deal: I'll change the empire's name to European Alliance (or something else, we'll need a vote) once more people join.

Forget about the UN: our mission is precisely to create a bipolar system, s the rule of international lore obviously is not being respected.

I would but I have a problem with the Altarians, they always side with the Dregin and I have to get in on that alliance or they'll in-evitably turn on me. Perhaps I should stick with the Dregin being evil in future...

That's the risk you take with random alignments. I got a game where the Altarian are the only good ones, beside me so I thought of allying myself with them to cure the galaxy of evil. But I need some time to prepare first.

Yeah, tis a sad thing. I have this urge to call a doctor everytime I enter this thread these days because the patient is not moving and doesn't look too well. Too much time in the bunker, I think.

BigBadger is right.

There is really no reason to play anything else than 1.05. Version is overall more stable, and the AI is more challenging than with previous versions.

Just submitted an Alliance Victory for 10504 points, at the end it was Excaliburs all around with an attack of in the 360 :D

That's what an open empire is.

It is like a house which is always opened. Anyone is free to enter and stay as long as they want. When they feel they are ready to leave the house and tackle new adventures, everyone is free to do so.

DO you have to be European to join? Your empire does well on the metaverse and I think it is irrelevent for non-Europeans to be denied access to joining. (sorry if thise question has already been asked, if it has I couldn't find it)

Feel free to join us, as is said before: it's an open empire. It's actually still being discussed, but I don't expect a result any time soon. And we certainly won't kick anyone out for not being European.
