Ok guys, to answer your questions:

Yes, Novocastrian stands for newcastle upon tyne. I'm half french half italian but live in the UK and also a big fan of NUFC, so I have to balance my passion for europe with my passion for the team. So here is the deal: I'll change the empire's name to European Alliance (or something else, we'll need a vote) once more people join.

Forget about the UN: our mission is precisely to create a bipolar system, s the rule of international lore obviously is not being respected.

Give us some time ok? We have to get all the armors, weapons and ammunitions out of the bunker, distribute them amongst our fierce warriors. Then we will march into battle, in order to make sure we'll have a battle we'll have to walk carefully as to avoid crushing the occasional ANZAC warrior as he picks up a flower while our army rides towards him.

i am new at the European Empire but... but i dont see our rulers... where are they? and where is our emperor?... and if he is not playing this game anymore.. why cant we choose another emperor?

but anyway.. we will conquer the galaxy with our without active emperor ;)

Welcome to the European Alliance Paladon.

As for our Emperor, we can only assume that he is caught in the red tape of the Senate on the impending war. Luckily we don't care that much for the Senate's opnion so war it'll be.

I use the email notification on this thread. Were keeping them at bay all right, but for how long?

I can only hope to monster up a massive countre offensive when our free expansion becomes available. Then we'll see what the people in the A.S.S. are made of ;p

Um... anyway, with the game on official retail release tomorrow, and the expansion pack being not only *free*, but also a meer _four days_ later, I think the Europeans are gonna start really moving soon.

I'm personnally trying to juggle bills so I can run out and buy this game in the stores and download the x-pac all before going away to uni (and away from my net connection) on the 21st... :notsure:

I plan on joining the EE asap, but I'm kinda strapped for cash atm.

In the meantime I'm squeezing every last drop of fun from the demo LOL I squashed the Torians today on one game, then got lucky on the star placement in the next and ended up with about 10 systems, including a PQ32 :CONGRAT: planet (it was base PQ26, I took an evil option on colonising to bring it up to 27, the Soil + Invironmental Control brought it to 32) Also there was a one sector gap across the entire galaxy sepertaing me from the only "sub-normal" AI. I had the rest on beginner.

I've not enjoyed a game this much since D2. Which I still play alot.
