Ok guys, to answer your questions:

Yes, Novocastrian stands for newcastle upon tyne. I'm half french half italian but live in the UK and also a big fan of NUFC, so I have to balance my passion for europe with my passion for the team. So here is the deal: I'll change the empire's name to European Alliance (or something else, we'll need a vote) once more people join.

Forget about the UN: our mission is precisely to create a bipolar system, s the rule of international lore obviously is not being respected.

After playing my last game almost from start 4 times. I finaly won. Some might call it cheese playing the same game over and over, but for me it just made it clear what i love about this game. 4 times and 4 results.

1) Altarians ended up kicking my ass.
2) Arceans kicked my ass
3) My ass was starting to get red from all that kicking. Drengin took turns
4) Non of the AI's got on top before i managed to reach Culture Conquest, culture bombed the Arceans and Torians. Reached Overlords and kicked drengins and Alterians ass right back.

Btw. On the final screen score screen i was almost last on econ. which seemed to be because of leases.

Well anyway less than 100K from MWC :CONGRAT:

Well i for one am sorry for not having posted this weekend (had to spend a little time in RL).

I have just been to a soccer (national legaue) and the local team only got a draw.... (:(

I'm about to break down, mostly because everybody at work knows who i'm ruling for....it will be a long day tomorrow.

Anyway is was thinking, we have to belgians in the empire: Any suggestions for beer out of the ordinary (please feel free to come with suggestions from any nationality).

I have tried (and "fallen in love with" the Chimay), but its got a 9% alc. vol. and in Denmark it isn't sold in less than 0,7L - after one of those you wont be kissing your mother in law (or maybe you will - but it wont be a god thinh LOL )

Beer, we got tons beers and tons of types of beer too ;)

In Belgium I get the impression that we feel that all foreign beer is rubbish (actually confirmed by some Americans that stayed with us). As for a suggestion of beer, do you want light or dark beer, what alcohol level?, a bit sweeter or not?

So give me a hint of what kind of beer you like, ok?

There are two basic ways to run an offensive: blitzkrieg and slow, crushing pressure. Blitzkrieg has the advantage of extreme speed and surprise. The disadvantages are lack of supply lines and exhaustion, as the relentless assault cannot be maintained for too long. Pressure has the advantages of steady stream of troops and supplies as well as never giving the enemy time to really regroup. Disadvantages to this method include susceptibility to blitzkrieg-style counter-attacks that bust through the lines and cause mayhem and a longer war that drains the economy and can seriously sap morale. The way for the Euros to climb the chart is to turn their large numerical advantage into slow, crushing, relentless pressure. When the higher ranked empires cannot keep up the pace and go into remission to recharge, there should be enough Euros left to keep the games coming. Just be wary of those Ringwraiths. They seem to have magical endurance spells and never get tired of playing, especially on maso.
