Love Poem of the Day
Romance By The Bay
by Robert
She walks in quiet beauty
Each morning by the sea
As sunbeams dance
Across the waves
Blue waters kiss her feet
A lovely Miss
With suntanned cheeks
And yellow golden hair
The embodiment of loveliness
In the cool of morning's air
I met her first
One sunny morn
As dawn peaked in the east
Dark shadows fell
Before the sun
Twas quite a visual feast
A goddess from
The morning mist
Shocking unto me
I'd never known
Such beauty and
My heart fell at her feet
She moved as if
She were a verse
From a soft melodic tune
The very soul of elegance
Causing my heart to swoon
I could not speak
As she passed by
My heart did skip a beat
And so I met
My truest love
That morning by the sea
She filled my heart
With melody
Causing it to sing
A song born of sheer ecstasy
The feeling would remain
And so we met
Twas not by chance
As she walked by the sea
My lovely Miss
With big sad eyes
Who stole the heart of me
On through the summer months
It played as if a song
But as the days
Of autumn neared
I knew it would not be long
The dream would fade
As summer flowers
Before September's day
As our wondrous love
Our sweet affair
Our romance by the bay
